Job duties:

- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the bakery and café.
- Manage staff and delegate duties.
- Explore new distribution channels and develop sales strategies.
- Conduct market research and social media campaigns.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Establish prices.
- Manage personnel issues such as hiring, promotions, development, retention, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers as necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
- Manage issues with suppliers such as payments.
- Plan budgets and monitor expenditures and revenues.
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full time.

The language of work: English.

Wage: $43.27 per hour.

Benefits: Accident insurance.

Skills requirements:

Required education:

- A university degree or college diploma in business administration or another relevant field.

Required work experience and skills:

- 2 to 4 years of management experience.
- Substantial retail sales experience.
- Knowledge of baking.
- Knowledge of supply chain issues.
- Significant experience with inventory control and dealing with suppliers.
- Significant experience with personnel development.
- A proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Creative.
- Takes initiative.
- Spanish language ability is an asset but is not required.
