Overview

Beamsville Physiotherapy is currently looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, passionate Kinesiologist or OTA & PTA that is eager and dedicated to joining our team for an exciting opportunity to gain experience and build confidence.

This position is for 12 months maternity leave coverage.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

- Strong interest in exercise prescription and sports therapy (or a passion to learn and build on present skills)
- Experience working with active clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude towards all team members and clients
- The ability to work both independently and with a group
- Effective time management skills
- Some evening hours are required; however the clinic only operates half days on Fridays and is closed on the weekends

We offer competitive wages (based on experience and advanced training), benefits, yearly educational allowance, encouragement, and mentorship. Our beautiful 2000 square foot facility is on the second floor of a medical arts building and overlooks the escarpment.

The maternity leave is expected to begin near the end of the summer (end of August) but may start earlier than expected. We may have the successful candidate come in for training and vacation coverage in the summer to familiarize themselves with our routines prior to the start of the maternity leave coverage.
