Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add to our team and hire an AS9100 Quality Assurance Auditor .
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for conducting company internal audits in accordance with the company AS9100 Quality Management System to ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev. D standards and maintaining the AS9100 QMS.
This role ensures compliance with internal policies, as well as, customer’s and regulatory requirements with respect to the manufacture of parts.
This position will be located in Port Alberni, British Columbia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audits i.a.w. AS9100 Quality Management System on manufactured parts and assemblies
- Assisting in the maintenance of the AS9100 Quality Management System.
- Raise findings and opportunities for improvement (OFI’s).
- Report audit findings to management for further action.
- Responsible for facilitating and monitoring the timely implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
- Enforce company policies and AS9100 procedures with respect to performance of manufacturing of parts and assemblies to be installed on aircraft, and participate in external audits, as applicable.
- Assist with the assignment of training to company personnel and contractors.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of AS9100 Rev. D Quality Management System.
- 3 years experience performing company internal AS9100 audits.
- 2 years experience developing audit checklists and tracking to schedule.
- Ability to maintain a Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of parts manufacturing and production.
- Proficient in all Microsoft office suite products.
