Summary of Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships, providing technical proposals, and ensuring a seamless sales experience while contributing to business growth. The position combines sales expertise, technical knowledge, and customer service to deliver tailored solutions and foster long-term client relationships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering technical support and guidance.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and assist clients in selecting appropriate solutions.
- Occasionally visit clients on-site or represent the company at marketing events.
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through inbound and outbound communications.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and collaborate with outside sales teams.
Quoting and Order Management
- Generate accurate and timely quotes and proposals.
- Process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Address and resolve any order-related discrepancies.
Technical Expertise
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
- Provide detailed technical information on products, pricing, and lead times.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- College diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Commerce.
- A background in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related scientific fields is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- 2-5 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in technical fields like industrial instrumentation.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong sales and customer service abilities.
- Technical knowledge of industrial processes is a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and verbal).
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
