Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and heavy-duty vehicle industry, is seeking a Truck and Transport Mechanic to join their dedicated team. As a Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance and repair department, supporting a team committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence. Pay Range: Depends on Experience
What's the Job?
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers, including Red Seal Heavy Duty, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, Bayview, East Coast International, and Cummins equipment.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
What's Needed?
- Valid Red Seal certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
- Experience working with trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair procedures for various heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety standards.
