Run what runs the world This Position reports to: Superviseure de production The Measurement & Analytics division is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of intelligent instruments and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The division's portfolio consists of analyzers measuring the composition of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions evaluating parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; as well as advanced digital solutions for device management, equipment health monitoring, and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, water and wastewater, energy, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the maritime industry. It enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from intelligent sensing and measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing "before" and "after" values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement. As a technician assigned to testing, you are responsible for testing the quality, reliability, and performance of our analyzers through rigorous laboratory and field testing. You also participate in continuous product improvement in collaboration with engineering, production, and customer support teams: • Perform functional and performance tests on analyzers. • Verify the accuracy of H₂S, H₂O, and CO₂ measurements under variable conditions. • Document test results and report anomalies or deviations. • Collaborate with engineers to refine detection algorithms and user interfaces. • Participate in the validation of software and hardware updates. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO, CSA, etc.). • Train internal users on testing and maintenance procedures. As a production technician, the position holder may be assigned to the assembly or testing of measuring devices in different production cells. DESIRED PROFILE: • College or vocational diploma in technology (physics, optics, electronics, chemistry, or other) or in an appropriate field. Equivalent technical experience will be considered. • Experience with laser spectroscopy technologies (OA-ICOS, TDL). • Good knowledge of diagnostic tools and data analysis. Interest in technical problem-solving and precision work. • Knowledge of natural gas measurement systems and custody transfer standards (asset). • Good technical communication skills (French and English).
