Everest's headquarters is located in Markham (Greater Toronto Area), Ontario, Canada. We have additional offices around the world: United States; Bulgaria; Poland; Romania; Croatia; China; and Taiwan. We also have remote employees across the globe.
To drive continued success in this exciting clinical research field, we are seeking committed, skilled, and customer-focused individuals to join our winning team as a Accounts Payable Supervisor or our Markham, Ontario on-site location, or remotely from a home-based office anywhere in the Canada in accordance with our Work from Home policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Verify proper authorization of vendor invoices and enter and code expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Work directly with project managers and managers to ensure vendor invoices are appropriately recorded to projects and, where applicable, for re-billing to customers.
- Work with clinical site payments specialists to process site payments.
- Prepare weekly payment batches.
- Review and reconcile vendor accounts and statements to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Respond in a timely fashion to vendor and employee queries related to invoices.
- Maintain vendor records in the company's enterprise resource planning system.
- Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, and payments by ensuring all documents are saved in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist other departments with purchases as required.
- Prepare annual 1099 Forms.
- Assist with budget-to-actual variance analysis and the forecasting and budgeting.
- Assist with the year-end audit.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.Comm.
- Minimum of five years’ related experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in work delivered.
- Meets deadlines and commitments.
- Flexible and organized.
- Customer and quality focussed.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000.
