Operating principally from the GDMS-C Contractor Field Offices (CFO), the FSR is an integral member of the onsite multi-contractor team, advising Senior Aircraft Maintenance Authorities, Maintenance Managers and aircraft Technicians; performing maintenance activities beyond the capability of DND technicians; and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on fielded GD assets.

- Maintenance, diagnosis of complex failure conditions and performing in-situ repair and modifications on a variety of avionics, electrical and computer related systems.

- Coordinating availability of all GDMS-C provided Support Test Equipment (STE) on location.

- Providing on-going system analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives both to internal stakeholders and end users.

- Performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on GD owned equipment; including aircraft parts and support test equipment.

- Performing Maintenance and setup tasks for ground and shipborne equipment; including installation and setup on Navy ships at Esquimalt and Halifax dockyards.

- Performing routine administrative task such as backups, ordering replacement parts and consumables.

- Providing system level support to the Life Cycle Maintenance Manager (LCMM), as required.

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000$117,000 per annum. The final compensation will be determined based on an assessment of the candidates qualifications, including relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.

- Knowledge of Helicopter operations and Maintenance environments.

- Familiarity with Airborne Mission Systems and simulators for Engineering and Training Systems would be an asset.

- Require a three year Community College diploma as an aircraft technologist or equivalent time and experience within an accredited Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) or previous DND aircraft technologists qualifications, or civilian AME qualifications.
