We’re looking for a Certified Millwright to join our redesigned, modern lumber mill located nearWilliams Lake, British Columbia.Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over 230 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Experience working as a Millwright with avalid Interprovincial Ticket.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
- Ability toread blueprints, plans and schematics.
- Strongproblem-solvingskills.
- Commitment to working safely .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability towork independentlywith little supervision.
- Good organizational and planning skills .
- Proficient inMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience withComputerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.
- P revious experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

In this role, you will:

- Work with ahigh-performance teamdedicated tomaintaining all mill machineryincludingpumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systemsinvolved in the manufacturing process.
- Keep our systems running smoothly byperforming preventative and predictive maintenance. This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Win big by finding safe, creative ways toboost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
- Apply your knowledge, skills and experience totroubleshoot issuesand come up withsafe, reliable fixesto keep the mill running.
- Share your knowledgewith the next generation of maintenance rockstars – our Apprentices.
