Licensed Practical Nurse, LMH – Multiple Openings – 214006

Lady Minto Hospital (LMH) – Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 1T1 CA (Primary)

Work Area: FBA Only

Multi‑Site

Regular full‑time, part‑time, casual and temporary positions are available. Shift schedules may vary.

Salary: $32.84 – $44.96 per hour with shift differentials.

Work hours: 75 hours worked bi‑weekly.

Qualifications

- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practising LPN.

Skills and Abilities

- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, families, co‑workers, members of the multidisciplinary team and the public.

- Deal with others effectively.

- Organise work and implement a plan of care.

- Demonstrate knowledge and competencies to work at the full scope of practice as required by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, including administering medications.

- Operate related equipment.

- Physically carry out the duties of the position.
