About the role

As Head of SME & Growth, you’ll lead the charge in scaling our partner’s presence in the small and medium business segment. This is a broad, strategic role that combines leadership, market positioning, and tactical go-to-market execution. You'll partner with cross-functional teams—from marketing to product—to ensure customers are onboarded effectively and supported throughout their lifecycle. If you're energized by growth, deeply customer-focused, and ready to help shape one of the most important segments of the business, this role offers plenty of room to make a lasting impact.

What you’ll do:

- Lead, mentor, and grow the SME and Mid-Market sales teams
- Own the full customer lifecycle strategy—from acquisition through to upsell and retention
- Develop and scale go-to-market plans aligned with commercial and strategic goals
- Identify key verticals and define the right value propositions and product positioning
- Collaborate with Global Marketing to build and execute customer campaigns
- Establish partnerships with local vendors and develop effective channel strategies
- Align with the global Product team to shape tools and experiences that support SME users
- Serve as the lead voice for the SME business, both internally and externally
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive measurable business growth

What makes you ideal:

- 10+ years in commercial leadership, GTM strategy, or operations in high-growth environments
- 5+ years managing and scaling multi-functional teams across sales, marketing, and customer success
- Demonstrated success in growing B2B customer acquisition and retention
- Expertise in designing and executing multi-channel growth strategies
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead through ambiguity
- Experience in payments, fintech, or scaling sales in high-volume B2B environments
- A hands-on approach and willingness to operate as a player-coach when needed
