Our areas of expertise are in rubber molding, material development, engineering, injection molding and over molding.

We were purchased by Starlim Sterner in 2011, market leaders in Silicone Liquid Injection Molding, with the head office in Austria and a manufacturing plant in London Ontario. With the ability to offer rubber and silicone under one company we can expect exceptional growth for the future.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating injection molding machines and presses to produce high-quality rubber parts that meet our rigorous standards. Key Responsibilities

- Load machines and presses with the correct rubber materials.

- Operate injection molding equipment safely and efficiently.

- Inspect each part during production to ensure it meets quality standards; remove flash and identify defects.

- Complete shift documentation including machine logs, scrap sheets, and production reports.

- Package finished parts accurately, label them, and prepare for shipment.

- Maintain traceability by ensuring proper labeling of all products.

- Communicate any unusual scrap levels or defects to the Supervisor or Lead Hand.

- Perform regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Participate in shift handovers.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to read and understand work instructions and documentation.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Competency in operating both automated and manual press equipment.

Physical & Technical Requirements

- Basic math and mechanical aptitude.

- Ability to lift 5–20 lbs regularly.

- Comfortable standing for extended periods; some seated inspection work may be required.

Shifts

- We have openings on afternoons and nights. Hours of work are: 2:50pm to 11:00pm and 10:50pm to 7:00am

- When you apply indicate your preference in shift. All shifts are straight shifts.
