In this role, you will also be required to perform tasks from other disciplines.**The regular work schedule for this position will be:*** Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day; Friday off* Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day; 8 hours on Friday**What you’ll do*** Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance on compressor station equipment, and other facilities relevant to the pipeline system as required* Conduct routine regular maintenance on gas turbine packages, gas compressor units and associated auxiliary equipment* Maintenance and troubleshooting of MCC’s and low voltage switch gear* Troubleshoot, test, & maintain shutdown devices, fire & gas detection systems, auxiliary systems, HVAC systems, relief and Over Pressure Protection devices, control valves, PLC’s & control systems* Install & configure software in control systems* Perform emergency repairs to meet customer and client needs* Ensure facilities and personnel comply with TC Energy's Community, Safety and Environment policies and procedures as well as accepted risk standards* Lead/manage the safe and efficient completion of low/medium complexity projects including the coordination and monitoring of contractor work activities or third-party active control* Complete all administrative functions related to position and duties* Maintain core operational task qualifications* Working in a Team environment**Minimum Qualifications*** High School Diploma, plus minimum completion of a second year of trades program or 2 years of technical training* 2 years of related Industry experience* Proven excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills* Eager willingness to learn evolving technology**Preferred Qualifications*** Journeyman Electrician certification or,* Journeyman Instrumentation certification or,* Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification or,* Journeyman instrumentation Certification* 5 years of years of related Industry experience* Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and SAP experience* Previous experience with high pressure natural gas* Previous experience with industrial gas turbines or Aviation Turbines* A solid understanding of PLC systems for troubleshooting purposes*This position requires candidates to:** Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract for review* Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing* Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home (estimated up 15% of work schedule)* Be part of an on-call rotation and provide emergency support as required**About our business**We are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
