This position offers a challenging, diverse, and exciting opportunity to join our team. Job duties will fall within our Mobile Shop department.

Responsibilities

- Perform various tasks related to the safe and efficient application of technical skills and knowledge of a Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET.
- Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including Log Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Forklifts, Log Trucks, Walking Floor, and Dump Trucks.
- Maintain other mobile equipment used in the manufacture of lumber.
- Continually maintain the quality and standards of service to safety and production.

Qualifications

- A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson mechanic or HET certification
- Apprentices are encouraged to apply
- Ability to read manuals and schematics
- Capable of using diagnostic systems, Cat, Kenworth
- Proven working knowledge of Hydraulics and electrical systems
- Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Flexible schedule for day, evening and weekend shifts
- Experience working in a fleet shop
- Cummins and Cat engine experience

Compensation Package

- The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
