What you’ll do

At Trouw Nutrition, we believe in empowering our people to own their responsibilities and make an impact. You will take charge of your tasks with autonomy and commitment, while collaborating closely with your team to achieve shared goals.

- Plan, coordinate, and organize production and maintenance operations to achieve objectives related to health and safety, customer satisfaction, and cost control.

- Conduct monthly internal audits, track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Participate in operations and management meetings, contribute to the Joint Health & Safety (JH&S) Committee through inspections, and assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

- Forecast staffing needs, oversee onboarding and training of new hires, and provide coaching to support employee growth and performance.

- Lead daily production activities and morning meetings to align objectives, coordinate maintenance and production schedules, monitor inventory quality, and champion health and safety practices in line with company standards.

- Manage daily labor reports, track payroll and time-off requests, maintain uniform inventory, and issue training certificates and license cards to ensure smooth administrative operations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a positive, results-driven leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and values collaboration and continuous improvement.

You’ll also need:

- Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting or equivalent.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a unionized environment (preferred).

- Experience in the agri‑food or animal nutrition industry (an asset).

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP systems.

- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

- Knowledge of Lean and 5S principles.

- Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Good command of English (French is an asset).
