Job Summary

Planitar is looking for a curious, driven, and service-oriented Business Systems Administrator to join our growing team, working alongsite our Information Technology team and acting as a systems business partner to our sales, marketing, and operations teams.

The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring our internal systems work seamlessly, integrate effectively, and support our growth. This role combines hands-on system administration with a strong business-partner mindset, helping departments get the most value from the tools they rely on every day.

You’ll oversee systems such as Smartsheet (Managed Services), ZenDesk (Product Support), HubSpot (Sales & Marketing) ensuring they’re configured efficiently, documented clearly, and integrated across our IT ecosystem.

Job Duties

- Act as the primary administrator for Planitar’s core business systems, including but not limited to Smartsheet, ZenDesk, and HubSpot.

- Partner with department leaders to understand workflow needs and optimize system functionality to support business goals.

- Manage configurations, permissions, and integrations across systems to ensure data integrity and smooth cross-functional processes.

- Support new system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts including planning, testing, documentation, and training.

- Develop and maintain clear system documentation and standard operating procedures.

- Deliver training and guidance to employees to drive system adoption and consistency of use.

- Work closely with IT to align system architecture with security, compliance, and data privacy standards.

- Continuously assess opportunities to streamline, automate, and integrate processes across teams

Desired Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in business systems administration or application support in a multi-system environment.

- Hands-on experience with ZenDesk, HubSpot, or other equivalent SaaS tools.

- Strong understanding of system integrations, automation tools, and data workflows.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to translate technical details into practical business solutions.

- High attention to detail, strong documentation habits, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

- Experience working with or supporting cross-functional teams
