About The Role

*This casual position offers flexible work hours.

As the Assisted Living Coordinator - LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and services to the residents at Clarendon Court. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the daily operations of Assisted Living services, providing nursing care, supervising team members, and fostering a positive living environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Assisted Living Manager in assessing potential clients and managing move-ins and move-outs.

Developing and maintaining Personal Services Plans (PSPs) tailored to residents' needs and preferences.

Supervising and mentoring Resident Assistants, ensuring consistent and compassionate care delivery.

Liaising with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to address residents' clinical needs.

Monitoring and documenting residents' health, safety, and care activities in accordance with Baptist Housing’s policies.

Ensuring compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations and promoting a culture of health and safety.

Requirements

Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) training program.

Current full practicing licensure with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Minimum of five years working within a seniors' health care community or a comparable setting.

Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.

Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.

Strong organizational, critical thinking, and conflict resolution abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism

Level 1 LPNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $32.84 - $41.35 as per the BCGEU collective agreement. You will be welcomed into a warm and supportive work environment.
