Consideration will be given to Registered 4 th year 433A tradesperson . The Millwright is a key player in keeping our production floor running and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment. Cooperation with the Maintenance, Production and Continuous Improvement Teams is essential for this position.While this is an Afternoon Shift position at this time, candidates must be flexible to work any/all shifts, daily/weekend overtime as required plus rotating on-call duties. Own tools & transportation is required. Duties and Responsibilities - Perform PM Duties on equipment per PM Schedule. - Trouble shoot hydraulic problems and repair. - Trouble shoot electrical / electronic problems and repair. - Trouble shoot and repair mechanical problems. - Record corrective action. - Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions. - Record repairs on PM forms. - Provide proper lighting to work areas. - On call expectations on a rotating schedule (1 week at a time) - Any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other Senior Management. Qualifications and Skills - Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent - Minimum 5 years maintenance manufacturing experience - production floor & facilities work (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, equipment relocation, facility installs/upgrades & troubleshooting) - Experience with hand and power tools - Ability to read, write & communicate in English - Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills - Self-driven & able to work independently and prioritize tasks - Excellent team-player with a positive "can-do" attitude & excellent attendance - Automation and/or experience with paint lines & systems is considered an asset We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those who qualify for an interview will be contacted.
