Overview

As a new and cutting-edge electric automobile brand in North America, we are looking for high caliber Automotive Service Technicians. In this role, your expertise will be relied upon to diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive service and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Ability to effectively diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive service, mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Promptly and efficiently perform all necessary work as stated in work orders
- Frequently communicate with Service staff on all work required to ensure alignment on timelines and expectations
- Obtain parts from parts department and return parts as required
- Escalate and clearly communicate all difficult repairs to the Lead Technician to ensure prompt solutions
- Maintain consistent understanding and compliance with VinFast policies and procedures
- Adhere to all safety and security regulations in the workplace
- Constant learning and upgrading of knowledge base via VinFast training and courses
- Ability, at times, to discuss issues with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy
- Other related duties as required

What You Bring

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, previous experience with an electric automobile brand preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract/record
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components, past Electric Vehicle experience an asset
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and understanding of wiring diagrams
- Flexibility to work retail business hours, including Saturdays
