Location: various locations in Alberta Shift: Monday to Friday, 7x7 or 14x14 depending on location Compensation & Wellness Perks: - $50.68 - $55.51 / hr (base rate) - Hourly premiums available - Continuous shift: $3.50/hr - Night shift: $3.50/hr - Field: $2.25/hr - Paid breaks, vacation and sick time - Overtime & Double Time hours available - Industry leading benefits - Employee Share Purchase Plan options - RRSP and Retirement Plan Options - Comprehensive Benefits - CAT dealer training## **Job Description:****Major Job Functions:*** Responsible for the maintenance and overhaul work in the EPG industry* Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs, maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.* Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)* Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team.* Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required.**Qualifications:*** Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification(or Electrical)* Power Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems* Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract* Previous Caterpillar experience* Willingness to participate and complete additional training* Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision**Important Details:*** A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable* **Union Membership:** You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
