Join SLFNHA as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) is looking for Speech-Language Pathologists to join its dynamic teams in Developmental Services (children & youth) or Primary Care Team (adults), serving First Nations communities across the Sioux Lookout Ontario Region.

What you’ll do

- Assess and treat clients of all ages from infants to adults.

- Collaborate with caregivers, educators and community resources.

- Advocate for clients’ needs and navigate funding processes like NIHB and Jordan’s Principle.

- Work in a variety of settings: daycares, schools, homes, and nursing.

- Enjoy flexibility and control over your caseload while being a part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

- Registration with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario

- Experience with electronic client files and virtual services

- Strong collaborative skills with interdisciplinary teams

- Knowledge of child development and evidence-based practices

- Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment/therapeutic skills

- Creative and adaptable in individual and group settingsExperience with children with multiple needs is an asset
