What You’ll Do

The Millwright Class 1 will perform all machine and equipment repair, mechanical adjustments, servicing, overhaul, and installation of plant equipment and machinery. This includes installing, modifying, or dismantling equipment, fitting and adjusting parts, installing sheet metal items, painting machines, steel and wood buildings, and stationary equipment. The role also involves welding and torch work in the Furnace Yard.

What You’ll Need

- At least 3 years of experience in Heavy Industry
- Certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright 433A)
- Willingness to work as a trusted team member with a skilled maintenance crew
- Enjoy troubleshooting and repairing machinery
- Experience in repairing and rebuilding machinery

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

- Pay of $45.92 per hour, aligned with the current Collective Agreement
