Responsibilities will include: providing administrative support in a team-focused environment, maintaining an efficient and confidential record keeping system, arranging meetings, providing support to the Occupational Health and Safety Department and to the Joint Health and Safety Committees. QUALIFICATIONS: - Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or Office Administration field - 2‑3 years’ experience in an Administrative role or in Occupational Health & Safety - Experience using Parklane software preferred - Demonstrated proficiency in minute‑taking - Advanced computer expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Access and required - Knowledge of process for conferencing calls, room booking, catering and article/information research - Ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities and deadlines - Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team - Flexible, self‑directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision - Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset - Consistent and regular attendance required Questions, quoting the job posting, can be directed to hrrecruit@niagarahealth.on.ca At Niagara Health, we value diversity, equity and inclusion, and welcome applications from all people.
