Our client, a major international player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Enterprise Data Management Specialist to lead a team dedicated to strategic data management. This role is key to advancing the organization’s analytical and operational capabilities.

Key details

- Contract type: Until January 31, 2026, renewable

- Work mode: 100% remote, with occasional travel depending on the nearest office

- Availability: As soon as possible

- Languages: Bilingual (French and English)

Responsibilities

- Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for master data management, data incidents, data quality, migration and conversion, and lifecycle governance.

- Develop strategies to support data owners and stewards according to their maturity level and guide them along tailored roadmaps.

- Oversee the creation of standardized procedures, data policies, and measurement mechanisms.

- Implement tools, methods, and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of cross-functional data.

- Promote collaboration and data management awareness across the organization.

- Drive organizational changes (tools, templates, processes) using appropriate change management techniques.

- Ensure that data governance strategies and directives are effectively applied within the corporate ecosystem.

Required experience / expertise

- Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale data management (migration, governance, MDM), including leadership of complex projects.

- Experience within organizations of 10,000+ employees operating across multiple continents.

- 5+ years in team management within a digital transformation context.

- Strong background with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) in distributed environments.

- Proficiency with data migration/conversion principles and tools (e.g., Syniti ADM).

- Functional knowledge of SQL, Collibra, and data quality tools (Informatica or equivalent).

- Proven ability to design a structured data management framework and define a service offering.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and lean/agile delivery models.

Assets: Experience in manufacturing, transportation, automotive, or aerospace industries; involvement in data governance platform development initiatives.
