Position: Business Development Representative
Hours/Week: Full-time
Compensation:
- Strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission

Reports To: President and General Manager
Territory: Fort McMurray and Surrounding Areas
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to lead commercial and residential business growth initiatives in the Fort McMurray region. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a passion for building relationships and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with current and potential clients through B2B, organized events, and cold calling
- Organize and schedule a calendar of consistent Business-To-Business visits
- Utilize marketing technology software to upload contacts to the CRM, send email campaigns, customize and print marketing collateral, track sales calls, leads, referrals, and notes
- Collaborate with the franchisor, read weekly communications, and schedule consistent meetings with the Canadian Marketing Team
- Manage social media accounts, post relative content and graphics, monitor all reviews and feedback and reply/ follow-up accordingly
- Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients
- Coordinate and manage community and charitable events
- Schedule, manage, and present Continuing Education courses
- Research local trade shows and coordinate Paul Davis booth set-up
- Attend training courses and annual conference seminars as requested
- Any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a needed basis
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align strategies
- Recruit, coach and lead team members

- Strong organizational skills
- Exemplary computer skills, i.e. Internet & Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Event coordination and sales strategy development
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office and field-based work
- Local travel
- Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
- Frequent use of office equipment

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two or more years’ sales and marketing experience
- Franchise, restoration, construction/home improvement, and/or insurance industry experience ideal
