As the heavy-duty Mechanic, you will be a key player in our continuous maintenance improvement program through daily troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies.

You'll Do:

- Maintenance of Sawmill Heavy Duty Equipment such as forklifts and loaders
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Verify and document repairs
- Monitor product quality and provide feedback
- Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting for various pieces of equipment

YouHave:

- Candidates must possess a Red Seal Certificate
- A valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Weekend and/or shift work may be required
- Valid AB driver’s license

Considered a strong asset:

- Previous experience working in a sawmill or an industrial environment
