If you’re passionate about leading a team that is committed to quality care and driven by innovation and growth, join us What you’ll be doing Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks, mechanical operations, building inspections, minor on demand repairs, heavy duty cleaning, moving of furniture, grounds maintenance/work, and janitorial tasks etc in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare, the facility, trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures. Reports unsafe and hazardous working conditions and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. What you bring Minimum 2 years building maintenance experience, preferably in an institutional setting. Possess technical competencies related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC. Valid driver's license required.
