Geotechnical Engineer

Overview The Geotechnical team includes more than 80 employees who, in recent years, have participated in major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), the Samuel‑De Champlain Bridge, and the development of Quebec's battery industry. Responsibilities - Conduct geotechnical studies of various scales - Interact with senior engineers in executing more complex geotechnical projects - Participate in administrative project management - Prepare professional service proposals Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in civil, geological, mining engineering, or another relevant field - Master'S or Ph.D. in geotechnics is an asset - More than 8 years of relevant experience in the field - Hold an ASP Construction safety card - Possess a valid driver's license - Strong command of spoken and written French - Proficiency in English* (an asset) - Ability to work independently - Good knowledge of MS Office suite and commonly used geotechnical software *This position requires knowledge of another language besides French, namely English, as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional management team and will need to collaborate with colleagues outside Quebec.
