Position: Medical Assistant Certified - Posting #27485

Hourly Rate: $24.09

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our clinic in Mt. Vernon, WA. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask. Medical Assistants are key members of the care team, responsible for patient flow and quality patient care in a safe and timely manner. Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.

Responsibilities

- Follow protocols in rooming and discharging patients
- Complete provider referrals for each patient
- Administer injections and oral medications as ordered by physicians; perform venipuncture
- Assist providers with charting and ensure proper communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Education and Requirements

- Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or an MA-Interim License, and pass the exam within 90 days of hire
- Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- EPIC experience is preferred but not required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
