Vision Talent's client is a leading financial institution, they have an immediate need for a Mobile Architect. This is an initial 6 month contract term but with a likely conversion to permanent employment - **NOTE that you must be open to converting to permanent in order to be considered.
They are open to a Mobile Architect skilled in either Android OR IOS.
This is largely a remote role with only 1 day/week required in office.
Candidates will KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) experience will be given priority.
Android Skillset:
- Java, Kotlin, XML, JetPack Compose, Android Studio, Unit test, KMP
- At least 5 years of experience in Android app solution design, and proven record of providing technical recommendation for business requirements
- Should be able to do hands-on and create prototypes if required
- Well experienced in complete app development lifecycle right from intake assessment to app release & production support
- Play key role in helping define and enhance strategy and roadmap
IOS Skillset:
- Hands-on experience in iOS mobile application Design
- Ability to mentor junior developers in the team
- Key technology stack: Objective-C, Swift, UIKIt, Cocoapods, Xcode, XCTest
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to mentor the developers in the team
- Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Should possess great organizational skills and time management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experienced in agile methodology
- Banking domain knowledge is considered an asset.
