Your work environment at EXP

This full-time, career-oriented position offers an opportunity to work with our dynamic engineering team in a flexible role focused on engineering and design within the oil, gas, and chemical sectors. You will be based in our Brampton, ON office as part of the Oil & Gas team.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

- Develop, implement, and monitor CAD design standards and procedures in collaboration with project teams.
- Assist with technical issues, provide training, and oversee CAD system quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiencies.
- Recommend best practices to meet or exceed project requirements.
- Train and supervise CAD users on application skills and standards.
- Maintain documentation of design deliverables.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation complies with client standards.

What your experience looks like

- Minimum of 7+ years of practical experience.
- College diploma in a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, CADWorx, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, and SmartPlant software.
- Experience with 3D CAD development and rendering is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in engineering or construction industries is preferred.
