Territory: Quebec and Ontario

We have an Outside Sales Representative opportunity for you. We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to prospect and build partnerships with new clients while optimizing the existing customer base.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Generate new business opportunities and develop customer relationships within a specific territory;
- Present the value of SPI’s products and services.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing clients and ensure increased sales and profitability;
- Grow market share and develop new profitable clients;
- Build and maintain customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals;
- Develop strategies and action plans, grow active and potential target accounts, and resolve issues;
- Promote our value-added solutions (products and services) to both new and existing accounts.
SPECIFIC SUCCESS MEASURES
- Revenue growth;
- Margin growth (in dollars and percentage);
- Growth in CPC (Customer Profitability Tool);
- New market share acquisition.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- University degree or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in occupational health and safety (OHS), ideally in a consulting capacity;
- Experience with indirect sales methods (e.g., managing sales agents or acting as a product specialist);
- Experience presenting to senior executives, in consultative selling, and using technology for decision-making;
- Experience with CRM software (strong asset);
- Valid driver’s license;
- Ability to travel.
