- Handle all logistics ensuring that you work with the Toronto divisions as deliveries and pickups may overlap.

- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and track shipments.

- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

- Compile and complete paperwork for shipments, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, and any other documentation.

- Create all rental contracts, invoices, credits, returns and work orders.

- Provide timely invoice backup for AP Invoices.

- Create purchase orders as needed.

- Inputting information and accurately entering data using Excel and other company software.

- Collecting customer credit applications, insurances and documents and submitting to accounting.

- Assist in managing inventory - ensuring they have part numbers or bulk asset numbers.

- Assist in ensuring all equipment work orders are completed and entered into company software.

- Proofread work for errors and make appropriate corrections as needed

- Communicating with suppliers and other departments regarding shipments.

- Ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through the shipping and receiving process.

- Prioritize workflow in a high-volume department to ensure deadlines are met.

- Adhering to safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe handling of materials.

Is this the right role for you?

- You have two to four years of logistics experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to always maintain a professional demeanor with fellow colleagues, clients, service providers and suppliers.

- A diploma or post-secondary education in Logistics or a related field is considered an asset.

- Work requires very light physical exertion and very limited visual and/or auditory concentration, manual dexterity and/or strain
