Compensation & Hours

- The rate of pay will be based on experience and designations

- Monday‑Friday

- This role is based in office in Lethbridge, AB (no remote or hybrid available)

Position Summary

- Leading and developing the accounting and office staff

- Offering accounting direction on all accounting processes including payroll and benefits

- Streamlining the financial operations by developing policies, overseeing compliance, managing KPI’s, and streamlining operations

- Compiling and presenting financial reports

- Forecasting

- Special projects and data analysis, including the monitoring of corporate credit, assessing risks, and investigating variances

- Collaborating and building relationships with department leaders, government agencies, and other professional organizations

- Meeting deadlines and managing month‑end/year‑end closing processes/audits

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years’ experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or related management role

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, mentor, and provide consultation

- Unrivaled attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
