The Role: The Payroll Administrator will manage bi-weekly payroll for 250+ employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality while maintaining records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting HR and Finance teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and expertise in payroll systems and legislation.

Responsibilities: As a key player in our team, you will play a crucial role in:. Processing accurate, on-time bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now. Maintain and update employee payroll records.

Verify timesheets, hours worked, and pay rates. Calculate wages, overtime, vacation pay, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.

Prepare and submit payroll reports to management/government. Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies. Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries.

Coordinate with HR/Finance on employee changes, terminations, and benefits. Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data. Managing employee benefit program through Sunlife and Canada Life Skills and Abilities Needed:.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. High level of confidentiality and integrity. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities. People focused approach. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.

Proficiency in payroll systems (eg, ADP) and MS Excel. Clear and professional communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and management.

Adaptability to changing laws, policies, and technology. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a patient and professional approach Education Requirements:. Post secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of related work experience is needed to effectively perform the job's responsibilities. PCP designation considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
