The **Training Coordinator** is responsible for the operational and administrative duties and activities of the Set7 Skills and Technology North Perth and Region training program for the Municipality of North Perth.

The Training Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating educational activities, communicating with participants and employers, and conducting outreach on behalf of the Municipality and project team to help administrate the day-to-day operations of the program and maintain the Municipality’s Set7 initiative.
- College/University Diploma certificate in related field (Education, Business, Psychology or Training), or relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in a training, education, programming, and/or administrative environment or similar outreach role. Municipal experience would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proven skills in word processing, spreadsheet, communications and presentations software packages, including demonstrated knowledge of website maintenance and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Excellent business writing and minute taking skills.
- Ability to deal with members of the public and stakeholders with tact and discretion.
- Excellent customer service orientation and skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and work outside normal business hours, as required.
- Valid G drivers license

The salary range for this position is $29.03 - $35.64 per hour based upon a 35 hour work week. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes a comprehensive benefit and pension plan.
