Purpose:
As a key member of the hotel’s leadership team, the Property Controller will provide exceptional, knowledgeable, personal and dedicated service to our guests, associates and business partners. They are responsible for the effective fiscal management of the hotel, while ensuring processes and controls are in place so policies and standards are upheld. The Property Controller will innovate, improve and implement processes, and adapt with technologies and changes within the hotel while maintaining the approved accounting standards and cycle in a centralized environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
- 5+ years of hotel accounting experience required.
- Prior financial accounting experience highly preferred.
- Proficient/familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook, and using Oracle/Fusion preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong selling and negotiating skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- May be required to travel.
- Use of personal vehicle may be required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
