- The CLSC Lasalle 1st Line Adult Mental Health Program is looking for a Social Worker to join our dynamic and stimulating multidisciplinary team of new recruits and experienced professionals.
- Our mission is twofold. First, to support adults aged 25 and over who present frequent mental disorders of mild to moderate intensity. Anxiety, depression, ADHD and relationship issues are common problems we encounter. Clients consult us primarily to learn how to manage their symptoms, reduce their suffering and learn coping skills. We offer short-term follow-ups. At this level, we are supported by a specialist in clinical activities, by our peers during regular interdisciplinary meetings, by an external supervisor and by training relevant to our reality.
- The adult mental health team includes the GASMA DLL (Adult Mental Health Access Desk of the RLS Dorval-Lachine and Lasalle). There is therefore also an opportunity to work on the reception, analysis and orientation of mental health requests from the entire territory. This is an interesting opportunity to work with the partners of our continuum, notably the community partners or the specialized services of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. The GASMA team is supported by a responding psychiatrist. Discussions of complex clinical cases are a regular occurrence and an opportunity to share clinical knowledge and expertise.
- In addition to the advantages of working for the network (job security, attractive salary, 4 weeks of vacation, paid vacations, group insurance, employee assistance program, participation in a pension plan, university component), our team offers a hybrid work mode with the possibility of 2 days of telecommuting and a flexible schedule (8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm, 11am to 7pm, 12pm to 8pm). Also, the CLSC Lasalle is located near a bicycle path, a gym and a park to go for a lunch with colleagues during the warm season.- Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in social work or social service, or a degree deemed equivalent by a competent authority
- Be registered as a social worker on the roll of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec;
- Be able to establish a relationship with both French and English speaking clients;
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience in adult mental health intervention;
- Have knowledge of the health care network;
- Have a license in psychotherapy, is an asset.
