***Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, **The Outbound Logistics Specialist **plays an essentia role in ensuring shipments arrive to retail stores, eCom customers, and various warehouse locations and are being delivered according to desired timelines.

Through day-to-day functions, the **Outbound Logistics Specialis**t** **contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje’s culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje’s values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.

**Responsibilities***:

- Facilitate the pick-up of shipments from our distribution centers, stores, and all other business requests.
- Maintain all relevant shipment information for retail shipments to help support future logistics decisions and solutions.
- Builds out retail delivery schedules for all Saje stores in the US and Canada.
- Help service Saje’s growing eCom business.
- Track and trace shipments to various warehouse locations, vendors, and stores to maintain accurate arrival dates.
- Manage carrier relationships in an innovative way to maximize service level.
- Clearly communicates to stores on exactly when shipments are arriving.
- Report and maintain outbound eCom and retail costing analysis.
- Provides business partners with rate quotes when needed.
- Report, maintain and improve on-time retail store and eCom delivery KPI’s.
- Review, audit, code and approve freight invoices against price agreements.
- Support other logistics and trade compliance departments where needed.
- Cross training logistics team members on day-to-day outbound logistics functions.
- Keep all relevant SOP’s up to date.
- Contributes to a team environment where all Team Members consistently experience a sense of belonging and inclusion.

***Applicant Requirements**:

- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Timely communication
- Great time management skills, able to adjust workflow to accommodate competing priorities
- Fast learner
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft office with advanced-beginner to intermediate excel skills
- Previous experience in a logistics role, or training in supply chain / freight coordination would be an asset
- Experience with AX is not required but is considered an asset
- Experience with Mediusis not required but is considered an asset
- TDG (Dangerous Goods Ground Shipping) certification is is not required but is considered an asset
