We are looking for an **Inventory Control Specialist **to join our Supply Chain Team Our Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for executing effective strategic inventory planning & control that drive the company’s profit and growth by maintaining the inventory accuracy across all facilities and developing an effective team.

**EXPERIENCE**
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in business operations, logistics, mathematics, or related field preferred
- You have at least 5 years of progressive experience in inventory management
- You have excellent computer skills, experience with ERP is an asset

**NICE-TO-HAVE**
- Warehousing experience
- WMS experience

**THINGS YOU WILL DO**
- Support the cycle count and the annual stock take process ensuring reduction in variance
- Ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions - escalate and resolve issues with the cross functional teams
- Work with supply planning team & sales to ensure that optimal days on hand inventory is available
- Work with the plant & cross functional teams to ensure products are disposed and the system is updated accurately
- Identify slow movers, obsolesce & dead stock - execute strategy to ensure minimum write-offs

**OTHER **
- You might need to work overtime during months ends
- Up to 10% travel to other facilities when required
