As a Parts Manager you will be responsible for the supervision and management of the Parts department. This position liaises with department managers and collaborates with the Fixed Operations Manager/General Manager to ensure goals and objectives are met.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating forecast and budget for the Parts Department.
- Collaborates with the Fixed Operations Manager/General Manager to make final decisions on departmental goals and objectives.
- Assists Parts team in setting goals and objectives and coaches to achieve goals.
- Responsible to hire, train, motivate, coach and monitor the performance of the Parts employees.
- Performs other duties as required by the General Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous parts management experience in a dealership parts department.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a parts advisor.
- Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of wholesale parts department operations.
- CDK Experience preferred.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
