In order to continue providing this high-quality service to our patients, FYidoctors has an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join our clinic 2-3 days/week in Kamloops, BC. The office has been established for several decades and is known to be one of the premier eyecare centers in the community. This history and reputation has allowed us to build up a large and loyal patient base which is still increasing weekly Our current patient base includes everyone from young families to seniors and focuses on a number of different areas including comprehensive eye exams, children’s and senior’s eye exams, contact lenses, surgical co-management and management of ocular diseases as well as an inviting optical dispensary.

Currently our location has 2 spacious exam lanes and the latest diagnostic technology. We also have a wonderful team of extremely knowledgeable and passionate staff who provide excellent support in each area of the practice. Our clinic puts immense emphasis on patient care and strives to ensure that we provide the highest quality eyecare to every patient we see. Kamloops has a population of roughly 90,000 people, lies in the heart of the Thompson-Okanagan region, and is the second largest city in the BC interior. Surrounded by stunning landscapes including, sagebrush-covered hills, ravines, wide open grasslands, rugged mountains, forested valleys and pristine lakes/rivers the area offers an abundance of hiking and biking trails. With over 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, the city is truly a 4-seasons playground. Summer activities include fishing, camping, boating, biking, and hiking, while the winters are wonderful for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. In addition to the abundance of outdoor activities, Kamloops is bursting with culture with a number of symphonies, theatres, art galleries and many more. There is also a progressive university and many family oriented amenities.
