**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**:

- Post-secondary education, preferably in a related area of study.
- Pre-service Fire, Medical, or Police training.
- NFPA 472 Hazardous Material Operations.
- NFPA 1001 level 1 or 2.
- Valid DZ license with a suitable driver abstract (standard transmission - up to 18 speed) is an asset
- On-call work availability for emergency response.
- Hazardous materials and/or environmental experience is an asset.
- Vacuum truck experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Confined space awareness.
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Willingness to work at extreme heights and within confined spaces.
- Participate in pre-employment and post-incident drug & alcohol testing.
- Professional and trustworthy, with a customer focus to his/her work.
- Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid Certification in First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Bilingual English/French or other languages, an asset.
