**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**Responsibilities**
- Create and execute the company grant program strategy.
- Research and select funding opportunities that are complimentary to the business goals and objectives. Identify and engage with government agencies in Canada and abroad.
- Prepare statis reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead grant preparation efforts using both internal resources and external grant writers.
- Oversee the grant administration process, managing timelines, deliverables, and project audits.
- Partner with the CFO to monitor grant spending and budgets.
**Skills and Experience**
- A degree in business administration and or an engineering degree. 4+ years of grant management experience.
- Verified and quantified success identifying, winning, and executing funding opportunities.
- Compelling written and oral communication skills.
- Project management skills and cross-functional team organizational skills.
- Grant budget accounting and financial tracking.
- Computer literacy with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated success winning and administering grants in multiple jurisdictions e.g. Canada, US and Europe
- Strong people and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and steer projects.
