We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to join our team and provide assistance to individuals in need.

**Responsibilities**:
Personal Support Workers (PSWs) play a vital role in providing care and support services to residents of retirement homes. In this role, a PSW will be responsible for:
1. Personal Care: Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting.

2. Medication Administration: Administering medication to residents according to their medication schedules.

3. Housekeeping: Keeping the resident's living areas clean and tidy, which may include tasks such as changing bed linen, laundry management, and organizing furniture.

4. Health Monitoring: Monitoring the health and well-being of residents by performing health checks, recording vital signs, and observing and reporting any changes in the resident's condition.

5. Social Interaction: Creating a friendly and welcoming environment through social interaction with residents to reduce feelings of isolation, loneliness, and boredom.

6. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care and services provided, medical and health observations, and changes in the resident's condition.

A PSW should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and families. Additionally, they should be compassionate, patient, and empathetic to provide residents with the highest quality care they need.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
