Reporting to the Production Manager, Flexxaire is currently recruiting an Assembly Technician to join the capable and growing production team.

**Minimum requirements**:

- High school diplma or equivalent.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
- Knowledge about appropriate use and care for hand tools, air, and electric torque wrenches.

**The following experience is an asset**:

- Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices.
- Advanced knowledge of industry safety practices.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
- Use equipment & tools correctly & efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.
- Train and mentor other employees within the production team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
