Serac Exploration is a mineral exploration services and consulting company. We manage and operate exploration programs, provide exploration solutions, and produce a wide variety of GIS and digital media products for our clients.
Serac’s projects typically involve being based in small towns and/or remote field camps within the Americas, with rotations ranging from three to four weeks. Outside of the field, we offer a decentralized work-from-home style office. Serac is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and healthy working environment for all contractors and employees. Some positions may involve traversing rugged terrain and/or lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- **Field Geologist**:_
- Experienced exploration field geologist
- Experience with bedrock mapping, rock and mineral identification
- Experience rock, silt, and soil sampling
- Outdoor navigational skills
- Physically capable to work in mountainous terrain
- Willing to work in a remote camp setting
- Experience with QGIS Preferred
