**Role**: Change Management Lead

**Status**: Contract (12 months)

**Reports to**: Senior Manager, Enterprise PMO

**Division**: Enercare Home and Commercial Services

**Location**: Birchmount Office (Markham)

The Change Management Lead is responsible for creating and implementing readiness and change plans to drive faster adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting the organization. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with project teams to help facilitate business requirements, processes and understand the conceptual solution, in order to understand and assess change impacts.

**Accountabilities**:

- Work within a highly matrixed team, establish change management plans and drive plan execution to completion
- Contributes to detailed project, training & communications plans including schedules, and resource requirements
- Partners with business leaders to develop case for change, vision statement, impact assessment and change roadmap for project
- Presents and obtains sign off for the change roadmap to the project leadership team
- Participate in the development and delivery of holistic communication plans that is unique to various departments and project stakeholders
- Responsible for all communications delivery to employees, customers, third parties, etc.
- Contribute to and approve the Training Strategy, plan and approach for projects
- Collect and assess project and training risks and resistance with end user community
- Learn training tools and leverage training templates
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Business Process Owners and consultants to develop end user training curriculum
- Participates in tactical solutions for change management to ensure business activities are executed in a controlled manner
- Include stakeholder analysis and high level tactics to engage key stakeholders, addresses resistance and ensures adoption of target audience (which includes sponsorship, communication, coaching, education/training and resistance management).
- Partners with business owner/functional leads to identify and document agreed measurement & reinforcement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes, and achievement of business outcomes
- Helps business sponsors fulfill role of change leaders to ensure attainment and sustained business outcomes
- Communicates issues effectively with Business Leads and Project Managers through project implementation
- Engages with the line operations team throughout implementation of projects
- Proactively seek to solution and close out issues
- Collaborates on user experience and business strategy
- Contributes to idea creation and project execution
- Monitors project post-execution and ensure long term implementation success

**Qualifications**:

- BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Ability to take an ambiguous concept and make it meaningful to help employees understand and navigate change (document a clear action plan/path forward)
- Creative and superior communications skills to be able to connect with a variety of audiences and achieve change objectives
- Effectively leads cross functional individuals/teams in preparing and delivering change plans to achieve business outcomes
- A proven track record of successfully implementing project change management in a matrixed environment
- A passion for working within and supporting change management initiatives in areas such as technology adoption, strategic change and cultural change
- Between 5 and 10 years' experience, most of which involve supporting large scale, complex change programs
- Ability to collaborate with customers and develop change management strategies and solutions
- Experience developing and leading people including mentoring, coaching, collaborating,
