Safeway Starbucks Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Uphold food safety standards in beverage preparation
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and recipe measurements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety practices in beverage preparation

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
