We are looking for a highly motivated, e-commerce promotion expert with proven experience in identifying and driving revenue growth opportunities through promotional tactics and effective campaign execution. We’re looking for an expert who can deeply understand our customers, our product, and our Marketplace to spearhead and execute robust promotion strategies, incorporating data analytics to assess performance and forecasting to drive continued growth. This role will work collaboratively to identify, influence, and negotiate promotion opportunities with our reward suppliers. Additionally, global partnership with our Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams is expected, working collaboratively within a global, and fast-paced environment to deliver successful outcomes. This role, reporting into the Sr. Manager, Merchandising & Promotions, will engage cross-functional teams and customer accounts to maximize redemptions, prioritize promotion-centric investments, increased margins, and profitability.

**Develop & Iterate Promotion Strategy**:

- Revenue-Driven Planning: Develop a promotion plan aligned with annual revenue targets, leveraging data-driven insights and competitive analysis. Enhance and iterate the plan with feature development and customer opportunities throughout the year.
- Global Mindset: Support global teams, customers, and campaigns globally. Through campaigns, balance global consistency with regional nuances to maximize effectiveness.
- Vendor Negotiation: Work closely with Vendor Relations Managers to synchronize promotions with product availability and vendor-funded discounts.
- Customer Enablement: Partner with our Customer Success team and Customers (where required) to drive program adoption of campaigns and ensure desired outcomes are attained.
- Innovative Mindset: Partner with Product/Engineering to identify and enhance promotion tools and features.

**Promotion Execution**:

- Campaign Execution: Lead the campaign planning, setup, testing, execution, and measurement. This requires developing strong relationships across departments, leading stakeholders to collaborate effectively and ensuring successful campaign execution.
- Reward Differentiation & Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Achievers rewards, leveraging this knowledge to craft unique selling points for promotions.
- Segmentation Strategy: Customize promotions for various customer segments (geographic, tier-based, and product-specific categories) ensuring campaigns are targeted and impactful.
- Continuous Campaign Improvement: Utilizing learnings and feedback executing on each campaign, enhance and improve the campaign execution project plan, setting clear expectations with impacted stakeholders.

**Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement**:

- Quantitative Insights & Reporting: Analyze quantitative data leveraging dashboards, generating meaningful reports/presentations on promotion success and identified areas for optimization. Collaborate with Data Analysts on forecasting promotion impact and altering promotion strategy for optimal performance.
- KPI Targets: Establish and measure KPI’s to evaluate campaign success rates and inform future strategies.
- Promotion Trends: Draw inferences and conclusions from promotion data to identify trends and anomalies. Collaborate on models to propose go-forward strategy that support key department revenue targets.
- Market Trend Awareness: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce promotions to maintain a competitive edge.

**Qualifications we're looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- 4+ years’ related promotion experience within the e-commerce, retail, or technology sectors.
- Experience with cross-channel marketing platforms (Iterable an asset).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such (Tableau and Amplitude an asset).
- Experience working with marketing and digital content creation.
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense.
- Strong communication, negotiation, influential and conflict resolution abilities (both verbal and written).
